Laser surgery: 17,000 CZK for a procedure on one limb; 22,000 CZK for procedures on both lower limbs simultaneously.
Clarivein: 22,000 CZK for a procedure on one limb; 27,000 CZK for procedures on both lower limbs simultaneously.
Sclerotherapy: The health insurance covers treatment for three segments of varicose veins using one ampoule of sclerosing agent. For larger areas, any additional treatment beyond what the health insurance pays will be covered directly by the patient.
VenaSeal method: This newer method involves injecting a small amount of certified medical adhesive into the varicose vein, effectively sealing the damaged vein and redirecting blood flow through neighboring healthy veins. The procedure is performed through a single puncture using a special catheter and under ultrasound guidance, allowing precise placement of the adhesive material. After the procedure, wearing compression stockings is not necessary. The risk of peripheral nerve damage is completely excluded. A smaller percentage of patients may experience an allergic reaction to the treatment. The cost of the procedure is 35,000 CZK for treating one limb.
