About my work

I graduated in 2018 from the Third Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. During my studies, I completed clinical internships in hospitals in Austria, Germany, and Italy. These experiences inspired me to pursue a medical career in Germany, where I joined the Department of Abdominal and Thoracic Surgery at the hospital in Weiden, Bavaria.

Since 2019, I have also been performing endoscopic examinations of the gastrointestinal tract at St. Anne’s Sanatorium in Prague. There, I am actively involved in colorectal cancer research in collaboration with colleagues from the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM) and the Department of Tumor Molecular Biology at the Czech Academy of Sciences.

In 2025, I completed my postgraduate doctoral studies at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, by defending my dissertation focused on the causes and laboratory diagnostics of colorectal cancer. After six years of specialized training, I passed the board certification in visceral surgery in Germany. Following this, I decided to return to the Czech Republic. In addition to my clinical work in a gastroenterology outpatient clinic and ongoing research activities, I joined the surgical department at the Palas Athéna Clinic.
